Robin Phillips: A Life in Colour took place at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts from April 19-29, 2022. Thank you to Lynn and Stephen Mandel, the team at the Nina — Rona Fraser, Janice Easton, Jenn Rutledge, David Janzen — and our friends and family for making this exhibition possible.

Celebrating the art and life of Robin Phillips. The exhibition brought together a collection of vibrant oil, acrylic, watercolour, and mixed media paintings, showcasing Robin’s unique style, techniques, and love for life, colour, and beauty. May you be inspired to create and share her joy and light with others. All are welcome.

Robin Phillips: A Life in Colour Reception
On April 21, 2022, we gathered with more than one hundred* of our friends, family, and friends who have become family to celebrate the work and life of our beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend Robin Phillips (*and that’s not including those who were with us in spirit✨).
Surrounded by—indeed immersed in—a room of Robin’s vibrant, beautiful artwork and a beautiful floral arrangement by Angela at Lovella Lifestyle, those in attendance raised their glasses, shared memories, and celebrated Robin’s life and legacy while enjoying some of Robin’s favourite tunes by Terry Jorden, food by Tres Carnales and the Art of Cake, and a great selection of celebratory drinks.
Thank you Lynn and Stephen Mandel, the entire team at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Art, and everyone who contributed and attended for making the exhibition and reception celebration so memorable and beautiful.
The exhibition will be up until April 29, 2022 at 9225 118 Ave NW Edmonton, AB T5G 0K6 (gallery hours: Monday – Friday: 9AM-3PM).

About the artist
Robin Phillips was an Edmonton-based visual artist who passed away in June 2021 under the Strawberry Moon. Painting with oil, acrylic, and watercolour, her unique voice and love for life and beauty continue to shine through her work.
